Jeremiah 24:7 – I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

Hi, I’m Kay Horner with the Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North America. I’d like to share with you from Jeremiah 24. The context is after King Nebuchadnezzar had taken some of the people of Jerusalem into exile. The Lord said, “For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land and I will build them up and not overthrow them, and I will plant them and not uproot them. I will also give them a heart to know me for, I am the Lord, and they will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.”

I recall a day when I was praying for a family member, who you might say, had been taken into captivity by the enemy. The Lord reassured me that He has His eyes on our loved ones. As we share God’s love with them, He can give them a heart to sincerely know and worship Jesus as their Savior.

Let’s pray: Father God, we worship you as you watch over our wayward loved ones, to convict and turn their hearts toward you. We pray they will respond to the Gospel message; humbly, repent, and return to wholeheartedly serve and honor You. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray, Amen. Let’s go!
