1 Corinthians 9:16 – “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into the harvest field.”

Hello friends. This is Sammy Wanyonyi coming to you from Minneapolis, Minnesota, with Shine in the World Ministries.  I want to share with you a scripture from 1 Corinthians Chapter Nine, verse 16. It says “For if I preach the Gospel, I have nothing to boast about for I am under compulsion. For woe is me If I do not preach the Gospel.”

Notice what Paul tells us here, that if he preaches the Gospel, he has nothing to boast about. It is just part and parcel of what is required of him. As Jesus reminds us, we are unworthy servants. And so today, as we go out to invite others, to look for opportunities, to look for that one person that we can invite into the kingdom of God, I want you to know that we are not under compulsion.  But we are under the grace of God. And the reality of what we are as followers of Jesus, we get to invite others into relationship with Him. He tells us that, you know, woe is me, if I do not preach the Gospel of the kingdom of God. Cursed is me If I don’t preach the Gospel. Will you look for an opportunity to be a blessing instead of a curse? Will you find that one person today and invite them into relationship with Jesus? Let me pray for you.
