2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways. Then I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Well, good day friends, Graham Power here greetings from Cape Town, South Africa. This is Go month. In fact, we are way into Go Month. And today the 22nd of May, is a very special day, a day in which there are many, many prayer networks around the world.
And, I want to share with you one of my favorite scriptures and that’s 2 Chronicles 7:14 but also the verse before 2 Chronicles, 7:13 which is “When I shut up the heavens so that there’s no rain or send locust to devour the land or a plague amongst my people.”And then that famous verse that we all know so well, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways. Then I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Friends. I believe that’s a promise that God has given you and I, that as long as we pray that we are ethical in all our dealings, what we call “unashamedly ethical,” then God will hear from heaven, forgive us and, and heal our land. We need that now more than ever. COVID, isn’t this the closest thing to a plague that you and I’ve seen in our lifetime? So tomorrow is the Global Day of Prayer. There are many millions of people across the world that will be joining together, and I invite you to come along, and join. All the information is available on globalvoiceofprayer.com. So Let’s pray.
Father, I thank you for the wonderful privilege of joining with prayer networks and prayer leaders around the world with intercessors, from every nation around the globe. And we pray, Lord that you will hear our prayers today, tomorrow in this month of May, and that you will forgive us and and heal our land. We need a healing Lord now, more than any other time in my lifetime, please, Father, hear our praise and heal our land in Jesus’ name. I pray. Amen.
Pray to be unashamedly ethical in all that you do today.
